Your statement does raise an interesting point though. Lets say the fabric was zoned - obviously you are not wanting devices to be shared or available dependent on the server or service that you are providing. It may however still be advantageous to have the ability to see all the devices on the fabric by zone. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 17 Feb 2007 05:46:18 -0800 From: "Tom Linden" Subject: Re: Fiber connection problems with 1-GB HBA and 4-GB SAN Message-ID: On Sat, 17 Feb 2007 03:35:56 -0800, John wrote: > David J Dachtera wrote: > >>> SYSMAN> IO FIND_WWID >>> IO FIND_WWID >>> %SYSMAN-I-OUTPUT, command execution on node VBUPSV >>> No previously undiscovered WWIDs have been found. >>> >>> SYSMAN> IO LIST_WWID >>> IO LIST_WWID >>> %SYSMAN-I-OUTPUT, command execution on node VBUPSV >>> >> Note that FIND modifies the WWID table (SHOW LOGICAL/TABLE=3D* *WWID*= ). >> > That works from the OS - if the server is connected! You should disable http access to the router and use only a console port. I have a Cisco 2900 switch behind the cisco router, and it is similarly disabled. -- Using Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/mail/ ------------------------------ Date: 17 Feb 2007 02:27:31 -0800 From: "Bart.Zorn@gmail.com" Subject: Re: Monitor JTQUOTA usage of another process. HGFTP uses NETLIB because it was written before both products had such complete emulation (and because it was intended to run with CMUIP, too). HGFTP with NETLIB on Alpha or Itanium is making use of the BG interface exclusively, as the current release of NETLIB switched to that for all three stacks (MultiNet, TCPware, and TCP/IP Services). Previous versions made use of each stack's native interfaces.
