LFor those of you who do your own CD-R burns of ODS-2 formatted CD's.... haveDyou ever wanted to put an ISO9600 file system on the CD also? Or, ifFyou master ISO9660 data on your VMS host, have you ever wanted to makeCthe resulting CD-R readable directly under ODS-2 without needing touse MOUNT/MED=CD?

OI spent a lot of time a while back trying to figure out how to do a dual-formatJCD. I met with some measure of success in understanding the process, and IJeven wrote some of the tools I would need to build a dual format disk. TheIapproach I had in mind would have required writing the ISO9660 structuresJwith a custom-written tool. That was going to be a real pain. Well, thanksMto Brian Schenkenberger, who published a technique for building a dual-formatGpartitioned CD, I was able to build a working process out of theGtools I had already built. The result is a dual format ODS-2/ISO9660 CD9with the file bodies co-mapped to save disk space.
